Designed for uncompromising quality and performance in high demand motorsports, LubeLocker Gaskets are without equal. Rock crawlers, drag racers, and circle track, and desert race patrons will recognize the quality of the rubber coated, steel core construction. LubeLocker’s signature orange elastomer beading emphasizes our single-minded purpose: to be the best differential gasket.
Tired of scraping the mess silicone sealant leaves behind on the differential cover? Ever had to wail on the cover with a hammer to break it free? Service shops will save time on installs, and shadetree mechanics will get the job done quicker and with less hassle. In addition, customers are less likely to return with leaky differentials. All vehicles deserve clean, grit free differentials with no oil seepage. And racers deserve quick, leak free access to the inside of their axles. LubeLocker Gaskets can retain their seal even if the differential cover shifts, while the orange elastomer beading delivers superior sealing through a wide range of temperatures. Keep the paper in the desk drawer and throw away your RTV—LubeLocker Gaskets are the only differential seal you need.

"... I will probably never
do another diff without using a LubeLocker Differential Gasket.
The installation is clean, easy and quick and the subsequent service
is much easier without having to hammer the cover off and without
having to scrape and clean the mating surfaces of the diff and
the cover."

"... the very best differential cover gasket on the market. The LubeLocker
gasket for popular axles exceeds all of the features found in the
highest quality RTV sealants."

"I love the LubeLocker. Changing differential oil takes less than half
the time it did with RTV silicone and no silicone scraping or messy
clean up."

Q: Why should I pay extra money for a LubeLocker gasket?
A: If you like beating your differential cover with a hammer to change the oil, spending a half hour trying to getting all the old RTV off the housing and the cover, picking all the little flakes off the ring gear, making a mess trying to position the cover on the RTV, cleaning the fingerprints and excess RTV off the axle after you tighten the bolts, and then waiting for the RTV to setup before you add the gear oil...well, then you really should just pick up that tube of RTV.
Q. Paper gaskets are much cheaper--why not just use one of them?
A. Wicking. Paper gaskets are more of a controlled leak than a seal. By slowly soaking in the oil they expand and fill all the voids in the mating surfaces. To do this the oil has to soak through the paper. The problem is the oil doesn't know when to stop. When it reaches the outside edge it tastes freedom and goes everywhere...and it really likes driveways.
Q: Are there any differential covers that this gasket will not work with?
A: Yes. If the cover you are using has a raised area between the bolts the elastomer beading will not be able to make contact and make a complete seal.
A: Probably a few times. We will not endorse reuse. We will tell you that people have done it and it has worked. We will not tell you how many times. It depends greatly on the application, interval between disassembly, and "environmental factors".
