A gasket is a seal, usually between two pieces of metal and is there to prevent loss of gas and/or liquid. When a gasket fails (or "blows"), you get leakage. The biggest cause for blowing a gasket is overheating. Other causes are hot spots, poor gasket design, or bad installation. Before or after your next mud run, be sure to use LubeLocker gaskets and have them professionally installed by one of our approved dealers.
